15 sign, and a favourite returns

After a number of friendlies, the Waltham Forest first team squad is now beginning to take shape, with 15 signings made so far.

Re-signing for the coming campaign are Josh Bonnett, Gazmend Dauti, Antone Douglas, Lukman Mojeed, Joel Palmer and Richard Shittu.

Forest supporters will also be excited with the news that prolific striker Jeff Hammond has signed for the coming season, and has been in good form in the pre-season friendlies to date.

A number of new players have also signed Ryman League forms. Jordane Blake and Aaron Omand are both goalkeepers, the latter of whom has Ryman League experience with Ware, Cheshunt, Leyton and Heybridge Swifts, having been with Southend United as a youngster.

Karden Campbell is a capable full back, who should provide good strength.

Ryan Imbert is a winger or striker who is the brother of former Stag Kareem Imbert, who will always be remembered for scoring an amazing goal on debut against Canvey Island.

Josh Green is a defender who has looked very solid in pre-season matches.

Striker Billy Melton, who has scored twice in pre-season so far, will provide good competition for places in an already large front line.

Nick King and Andran Molnar have also both signed.

First team manager Wale Ojelabi is still on the look-out for players ahead of the start of the season on the 20th of August.
