There is ample parking at the ground.

The Beer Hunter’s Guide:

There are no pubs in the immediate vicinity of Aveley's ground (Romford's current home), and the Beer Hunter can't recall sampling the club bar last time he visited (suggesting he either didn't go in there or had such a good time celebrating Forest's remarkable fightback that he couldn't remember a thing next day). The nearest pubs are at the far end of Mill Road, in the town centre. Turning left into the High Street, the Crown & Anchor proved to be a sound choice last time - interesting, historic pub with good service, friendly locals and a very good drop of Shepherd Neame Spitfire. If you have a bit of time in hand, the Ship is a bit further down. On the other hand (literally), if you turn right at the bottom of Mill Road you soon come to the Top House, which has picked up good reports for its friendly atmosphere and excellent live music; not sure what the beer range is, but there's one way to find out...
