Two more of Walthamstow’s key players from last season have committed to Stow for 2018-19.

Josh Brimacombe-Wiard scored all-important goals against Basildon United and Ilford to secure two huge wins and keep the club in the Essex Senior League.

Josh had offers to work full-time at a higher level, but the ex-Barnet man opted to stay with Walthamstow. He said “I know something special is happening here. The gaffer has made me fall in love with football again, and that’s more important to at the moment.”

Also returning is goalkeeper James Harkin.

James turned in two huge performances at the end of last season, and was only beaten from the penalty spot.

The Australian native was training with Crystal Palace last season and has chosen to showcase his talent with Walthamstow.

Manager Ryan Maxwell said “He’s quality and in my opinion will definitely climb the football ladder. He’s only 21 and has tremendous potential.”
