Anau, Julien

Midfielder Julien and his family arrived in England from Paris in early 2013, whereupon he signed for Fareham, then in the Wessex Premier League.

He wasn’t seen playing senior football again until 2016, when he cropped up playing in Spain for Ontinyent.

This didn’t last long either tough, and he was back in England, making a solitary appearance for Waltham Forest in 2017, also picking up a yellow card.

He was then on the move again, crossing the Irish Sea to play for Larne in Northern Ireland. He was only able to make a handful of appearances before being kicked out of the club for “a serious breach of club discipline”.

It worked out for Julien though, stepping up a level to sign for Carrick Rangers, where he saw out the 2017-18 season.

In the summer of 2018, he made his way back to England, signing for Welling United where he was a mainstay in their team, scoring 13 goals in 40 league games.
