Walthamstow FC are delighted to announce that forward Dwade James has signed a contract with the club.
James joined Stow mid-way though this season, and has already fired in 11 goals in 10 games, continuing the excellent form he showed at Leyton Athletic. He is currently the Essex Senior League’s top scorer.
After signing, Dwade said “It’s great honour to be the first contracted player for Walthamstow FC.

And Dwade also reserved praise for the club’s supporters, saying “Big shout out to the best fans, The Rabble, always supporting in numbers”
Maxwell was quick to share his happiness too, saying: “Dwade is my first player on contract. He’s scoring goals and improving all the time.
“Dwade has been a super signing, and illustrates the club’s ambition to secure his services.
“It’s a big day for Walthamstow FC, and we’ve only scratched the surface.”
Dwade becomes the first player to sign a contract with the club since the 2006-7 season, and joins an illustrious list of names like Wes Thomas and Fola Orilonishe to have made such significant commitments to the club.
Stow are delighted that Dwade has signed, and look forward to him continuing to bang the goals in.
