Barry, Mark

Mark Barry was a left-sided player who began his career as a youngster at at Cambridge United before moving on to Norwcich City. After his release from the Canaries, he spent a season and a half with Billericay Town, making 28 league appearances.

Clearly something of a fans’ favourite, a Ricay forum post describes him as a “headcase… nutcase… who could play a bit as well”.

Spells with Canvey Island, Purfleet, Grays Athletic and Great Wakering all followed before he arrived at Leyton Pennant during the 2001-2 season.

From there he moved to East Thurrock, and was last seen playing for Barking during the 2006-7 season.
