Ryan Maxwell has continued to show his intent this season with the return of Charlie Yexley.
The wing-back, equally adept at playing on the left or right of midfield spent the majority of last season playing for Ware, where he played a key role in their 7th-place finish, narrowly missing out on the play-offs.
He will be familiar to Stow fans, having played 21 times in the 2016-17 season. He was a key member of Kem Kemal’s team who made such a blistering start to that season. Charlie will no doubt be looking to go one further this time around.
The defender had youth spells at Millwall and West Ham before being a scholar at Dagenham & Redbridge. He spent part of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons on loan at Ware.
He also spent time in New Zealand, playing for Napier City Rovers.
Stow Manager Ryan Maxwell said “I’m really pleased to have signed my former teammate Charlie Yexley from Ware. He’s got tons of energy and is a good character to have in the team. Welcome back!”
