Mitchell gets to work

Stow manager Max Mitchill has moved quickly to add quality to his team, both on and off the pitch.

Jason Beck is a commanding centre-back who joins having most recently been with Hertford Town. He has a wealth of experience, having played extensively at steps four and five of the pyramid.

Michael Osei joins from Witham Town. He impressed last night on his debut, pulling the strings from right back. He has also played for Aveley.

Left-footed defender/midfielder Michael Noone signs having previously played for Aveley, Hitchin Town and Concord Rangers amongst others. He has 21 youth caps for Ireland, having represented them at U16, U17 and U19 levels.

Connor Scully came through the youth system at St Margaretsbury, where he played last season before moving to Herford Town alongside Max Mitchell.

Finally, David Hutton joins the club’s management team as a coach. With some serious playing pedigree, David began his career with Spurs before playing in the football league for Cheltenham Town. He won the Southern League title with Hemel Hempsted and has also played for Bishop’s Stortford and Hayes & Yeading amongst others.
