Co-tenants well beaten at the Lodge

Co-tenants at Wadham Lodge West Essex were beaten 5-1 as Stow’s pre-season ramped up.

The game had due to be played on the stadium pitch, but continious rain meant it was switched to the 3G pitch.

And the change didn’t bother Stow, who raced into a 4-0 lead after just 20 minutes thanks to goals from Rasheed Salau, Ross Wall, Joe Elliott and Reece Conway.

West Essex pulled one back before the break, but Stow got a fifth thanks to another goal from Salau.

Stow now host Croydon Athletic on Wednesday evening, on the 3G pitch at the Lodge.
