End of season awards 2012/13

Following Waltham Forest’s final home match of the season, the awards ceremony for the 2012/13 season took place.

Manu Dagher was handed the Top Scorer award for the second consecutive season.

Arian Retkoceri and Jack Leachman shared the Most Improved Player award.

Matt Waldron was inevitably given the Goal of the Season award for his half-way line effort against Grays.

Chris Taylor was Wale Ojelabi’s Player of the Season.

After the online vote, Tom Vickers was named Supporters’ Player of the Season, aged only 18.

Finally, Manny Sackey was awarded the Alan McLean award for Club Commitment. Sackey has now racked up well over 100 appearances for the club since his first spell in 2007. This award was created in the memory of Alan McLean, who passed away earlier this year. It was presented by his son Fraser.
