Happy New Year from Waltham Forest FC

2012 has proved to be another transitional year for the club, where it seems very little has happened.

 

We have however enjoyed some very good times in the past twelve months.

 

From a personal point of view, my highlight would have to be the remarkable 5-2 win over Hemel Hempstead in the FA Cup.

 

Even the more optimistic amongst us wouldn’t have foreseen a victory over the Southern League leaders, but the performance we put in that day was probably one of the best of any Waltham Forest side.

 

Elsewhere, I would have have loved to have bee at Sudbury for the 2-1 win last season, or at Needham Market for our 6-1 victory this season.

 

I’m sure that 2013 will be another important year in the history of our club, and I hope that you can enjoy it with us.
