Hullbridge Sports 2-2 Waltham Forest
Waltham Forest picked up a point on their travels away to fourth-placed Hullbridge Sports, but will see it as two points dropped after conceding a late, late equalizer.
The opening half-hour was evenly contested, but it was Forest who took the lead, in almost identical fashion to their midweek goal against Sporting Bengal.
A Lee Flynn free kick was glanced on by Jeff Hammond, leaving the keeper stranded in no man’s land.

But the lead was short-lived. After giving away a sloppy free kick, Rhys Madden was only able to parry the goalbound effort into the path of Ashley Pibworth who turned the loose ball in.
Early in the second half, Forest put themselves in front again. Stephen O’Hara fed in Brian Moses, who beat a couple of players before firing past the home keeper.
The game continued to grow in intensity and bite as the second half progressed, and Madden did well to keep out a number of good efforts.

But deep into injury time, came the moment which would change the game. Jack Folwer – already on a yellow card deliberiately handled the ball for a second time, and was shown a red card.
From the resulting free kick Joe Turpin rifled home into the bottom corner.
There was still time for Moses to spur a good chance for Forest, but the game ended with handbags between two fustrated sides.
