Leyton Pennant went top of the Ryman League division two with a 2-0 win over Leatherhead at Wadham Lodge on Tuesday night.
The breakthrough came on 53 minutes when Underhill’s perfectly flighted corner found Neil Tilley who rose on the six-yard line to power the ball home.
Leatherhead attacked but the Lilywhites’ defence stood firm thanks to the immaculate Matt Waldron.
The home side wrapped it up in injury time as Tresadern was fouled in the area and Jay Notley made no mistake with the penalty kick.
