National South Enfield Town beaten at home

Walthamstow’s pre-season continued with an impressive 1-0 win over National League South side Enfield Town.

Town had the better of the first half, with David Hughes in the Stow goal on hand to produce a number of good saves.

At the other end, Rasheed Salau and Tyrone Baker both shot wide when well placed.

The only goal of the game came early in the second half when Te Wihongi smashed a peach of a free-kick into the top corner.

The game was played in honour of Kaylen Dennis, the young Stow midfielder who tragically passed away last year.
