Palmer returns as renforcements brought in

With very little action on the field, Forest have been busy off it, bringing in reinforcements ahead of a busy end to the season.

George Essuman, is a local defender who has previously played for Norwich City at youth level, where he was snapped up from Hemel Hempstead Town. He was most recently at London Colney.

Ike Nzuruba is a striker who has previously been on the books of Scottish League side Cowdenbeath, while also turning up for Hayes & Yeading and Redbridge.

Kevin Toonga is a defender who was previously with Crawley Town and Shrewsbury. He and Nzuruba both join from Hatfield Town.

James Foster is also a defender, who joins from Cockfosters.

Andrew West joins from league rivals Waltham Abbey.

Finally, Joel Palmer returns to the club for at least the sixth time. Earlier this season he was with Romford, where he made three appearances.

Palmer is Forest’s 26th all-time appearance-maker, with 76 starts, though he does also have 36 substitute appearances to his name. Since first signing for the club in 2008, he has scored 32 times.
