Preview: Forest v Wroxham (21-8-13)

After two games on the road, Forest are back in action at Wadham Lodge this Wednesday evening as they take on Norfolk side Wroxham.

This summer was a transitional time for the Yachtsmen as they prepared for their second season in the Ryman League.

Manager David Batch set sail for Sudbury, while Pav Guziejko was brought in as his replacement having managed locally for a number of seasons.

After a disastrous opening day to the season when they lost 6-1 to Aveley after being 1-0 up, Wroxham have hit a bit of form.

Last Saturday they defeated promotion candidates Maldon & Tiptree 4-0, before coming out on top in a seven-goal thriller against Ware at the weekend.

Forest will be looking to get their first points on the board after three consecutive defeats at the start of the season.

In our history, we have played Wroxham twice competitively. Both these matches came last season, and both were drawn. The score was 3-3 in the away fixture, while the return leg was a dour 0-0 affair at Cricklefield.
