Waltham Forest’s FA Cup adventure continues this Saturday with the visit of Stotfold in the 1st qualifying round.
Forest will look to match their best run as Leyton Pennant/Waltham Forest by reaching the 2nd qualifying round for the forth time.
Forest’s first qualifying round record reads as follows:
| 1995-6 | Arlesey Town | L 3-0 |
| 1997-8 | Welling United | L 3-0 |
| 1998-9 | Ware | L 3-2 |
| 2001-2 | Clacton Town | L 3-0 |
| 2002-3 | Great Yarmouth Town | L 5-1 (after replay) |
| 2003-4 | Rothwell | L 3-1 |

| 2011-12 | Hitchin Town | W 2-0 |
| 2012-13 | Hemel Hemsted Town | W 5-2 |
This is Stotfold’s best run since the 2011-12 season, when they lost 4-0 to Billericay Town in the first qualifying round. In 2007-8, they made it as far as the third qualifying round before losing 5-0 to Tonbridge Angels.
After losing their first two league games of the season 6-2 and 6-1, Stotfold are in the middle of a three-game winning streaking, beating Broxbourne 5-2, Welwyn Garden City 3-2 and Sun Sports 2-1.
With Daniel Bond (6 in 4) and Paul Morris (4 in 6), Stotfold will not be short of attacking threat.
Forest will be without Ryan Wade who is cup-tied, while Jeff Hammond still looks to regain full match fitness after a difficult start to the season with injury.
Kick off is 3PM at Wadham Lodge.
