Results of Ryman League AGM
The Ryman League Annual General Meeting took place yesterday afternoon. The overall outcomes of the meeting are still unknown, but two key points have been made public.
The first point covered was that of what would happen to Bishop’s Stortford if they were to request demotion from the Conference North. This now seems unlikely, but the Ryman League management comittee have made it clear that they would accept Stortford in the Ryman Premier Division, meaning the division would run with one extra club.
Secondly, the Ryman League Cup has seen a huge re-organisation. After a first round, the 64 remaining clubs will then be divided into 16 groups of four clubs, where each club will play eachother both home and away.
More news will be posted here once it is known.
Elsewhere, Evo-Stik have been confirmed as sponsors of the Southern League, meaning that two of the three step 3-4 leagues are now sponsored by Evo-Stick.
