Haringey came into the game unbeaten having finished runners up last season by a point. Forest however were on back to back losses.
In the opening few minutes Forest were under pressure, this ended in a free kick outside the edge of the box for Borough which was cleared successfully.
The first shot on target in the game came from Dean Fenton, he sent in a fizzing shot that was dealt with very well by the Forest stopper Hussein.
Another shot headed towards Forests goal but thankfully was wide of the goal.
On 35 minutes there was a breakthrough by Borough, their number Walid Matata cut through the Forest defence to shoot from outside the box into the back of the Forest net.
This was soon followed by another goal, this time their big number 8 saw the ball creep into the corner of the net after a goal mouth scramble.
As the half time whistle blew the heads were dropping as confidence seemed low.
Shortly after half time there was a break down the Forest left and Neil Thompson sent in a wicked cross that was headed just wide of the goal.
That was Forest’s first real chance and could have been a game changer.
In the 75th minute borough scored their third to seal the 3 points. Their number 9 put away a clinical finish In to the corner of the net. Forest did fight back with Ibrahim Ezrouki shooting on target but straight into the hands of their keeper.
There was another chance that struck the post for Forest however the score remained 3-0 making it four on the trot for borough. Forest always looked threatening without finding the end product.
