Ware Preview (2-4-11)
This weekend, we entertain Ware in our 34th league match of the season. After gaining three points for the first time since January, Forest will be confident of closing the gap on Ilford further, agaisnt a Ware side who themselves have only won one of their last 13 games, coming on the 22nd of March against Great Wakering Rovers.
Ware have been busy during the last few weeks, bringing in a number of lower-level players to bolster their options, but have lost the influential Luke Marshall to Harlow Town. Forest meanwhile, have signed no less than nine players in the week running up to the close of the registration period. Amongst these signings was vastly experienced midfielder Marvin Samuels, who was key in The Stags’ midweek win over Redbridge.
We have only lost at home once to Ware in our four encounters. On the 9th of February, Chirs Lappiere was sent off only 18 minutes into his debut, in a match which saw us go down 2-0 – John Frendo and Chirs Ellerbeck scoring for the visitors.
Live match-day updates will be available on the club’s Twitter Stream, Facebook Page, and on www.walthamforest-fc.co.uk from 3 PM on Saturday.
