What happened to: The relegated side of 2014-15
Just over a year after Waltham Forest’s relegation from the Isthmian Football League, we take a look at what happened to the players unable to save Forest from relegation.
Stephane Koffi
Forest’s top appearance maker in the 2013-14 season does not seem to have been active in 2014-15.
Emmanuel Bella
The young wing-back does not appear to have been playing for anyone of note this season.
Stephen Ikumelo
Ikumelo began the season trapsing out to Burnham Ramblers, where he was unable to help them from falling to the bottom of the table. He then moved to Barkingside… who also finished in a relegation place. It is worth noting, that before playing for the relegated Forest, he was relegated (though later reprieved) with Redbridge in the 2012-13 season.
L’Hereaux Menga
Menga also started the season at Burnham Ramblers, before moving to Thurrock (scoring twice in 10 games) and Witham Town (where he scored one in eight games). Like Ikumelo, Menga suffered a second relegation in as many seasons, albeit from a division higher.
Hulusi Mustafa
After leaving Forest, Mustafa made nine appearances for Redbridge between August and February 2015. He returned to Wadham Lodge in March, making a solitary appearance in the 2-2 draw with Newham.
Oyetunji Oyewale
‘Tunji was one of Forest’s most impressive players when on top of his game last season – sadly, that was not often enough. He spent the last month of the 2013-14 season with Aveley, but then ended up playing for Velez Malaga in the Spanish Third Division.
Miguel Pascal-Johnson
Pascal-Johnson certainly had a lot of potential, and seems to have had a settled season playing at Corinthian in the Southern Counties East League – finishing sixth. He made 17 starts and six substitute appearances at step 5.
Lee Scott
Scott was an ever-present during Forest’s 2014-15 pre-season, but then moved quickly onto Burnham Ramblers. He played a couple of times for the relegated Essex side, but hasn’t been seen since.
Amadou Tangara
The young stopper was one of the few who impressed for Forest last season, and was last seen on the substitute’s bench at Margate.
Richard Worrell
Stepped up to the Isthmian Premier, where he made six appearances for Hendon at the start of the season. He then moved on to North Greenford United, where he played four times, was sent off once and did not score.
Danny Laurent
Hasn’t been seen playing anywhere this season.
Leon Fisher
The lairy midfielder left Forest for Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian Premier, before moving on to Ware, making six appearances. He was an FA Sunday Cup semi-finalist with New Salamis, playing alongside James Crysanthou, Richard Georgiou, Leon Lalite and Steve Velandia, among others. A Leon Fisher did score six goals for Ticehurst in Division One of the East Sussex League, but it probably isn’t the same one…

Immanuel Parry
The former Stoke scholar moved on to Harrow Borough, before establishing himself at Grays Athletic, making 54 appearances and scoring once. Perhaps one of the few players to have genuinely gone on to better things. Has just signed for newly-promoted Maidstone United.
Ben Long
The talismanic midfielder made 32 appearances in the Isthmian Premier for Harrow Borough, scoring three times. He made a brief return to Forest in February, playing in the 4-4 draw with Sporting Bengal as he came back from injury.
David Myers
There’s a goalkeeper called David Myers playing for Washington College, but it probably isn’t the same one….
Mark Twumasi
Another player to try and fail to save Burnham Ramblers.
Frantz Tchinang Ngassa
Made eight appearances, scoring once, for Whitehawk in the Isthmian Premier, before moving on to Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Ashley Harris
Won the Essex Senior League with Haringey Borough. However, with his teammates scoring 129 goals between them, Harris probably didn’t have much to do.
Vinnie Murphy
Was relegated, again. With Redbridge this time. Made 29 appearances for the Motormen.
