FA Cup & Trophy Draws

As has become the custom for Forest, they have been dealt with possibly one of the hardest draws in the FA Cup for the 2008-9 season. Whereas some clubs will have the chance to face lowly opposition right until the last qualifying round, Forest will start off their campaign in the Preliminary round away to Great Wakering Rovers. The winners will away again, this time to Boreham Wood. In the Trophy, Forest will be at home to East Thurrock United – runners up in the Ryman North last season, and should we be successful in defeating the Rocks, we will have a home tie with Ryman Premier side Maidstone to look forward to.
