Turgut Esendagli reappointed First Team Manager

Waltham Forest FC are pleased to announce the re-appointment of Turgut Esendagli as first team manager.

Turgut managed Forest from 2013-2015, and lead the club to their highest divisional placing since 2007, as they finished 10th in the Essex Senior League.

Forest also had their highest win percentage since 2007 last season, and also scored the most goals ever in a season (85) of any Waltham Forest or Leyton Pennant side.

Turgut will be looking to revive Forest’s season, and pull them away from potential relegation, starting with an away trip to London Bari this Saturday.

At this point, the club would like to thank Terry Fogarty, Darren Pitcher and Matt Hanning for all their hard work this season.

It has undeniably been a tough start to the season for Forest, who have picked up only four points from the first 16 games of the season.

Working with absolutely zero budget, Terry constructed a young team which tried to play football the right way, playing some attractive attacking football at times.
