New first team manager appointed

Waltham Forest are delighted to announce the appointment of Kem Kemal as first team manager.

Kemal (pictured, left) is an experienced non-league manager who started his managerial career in 2006 with Ergazi FC in the Turkish Community League.

In 2012-13, he managed Aslan, guiding them to the Herts County League Division 1 title, scoring 102 goals and losing just twice.

He then moved on to Broxbourne Borough, and midway through the 2013-14 season, the herts side were in second place, with two points in hand on the league leaders.

However, in December he moved to Ware, who were then bottom of the Ryman Division 1 North.

12 wins and four draws lifted Ware to 21st in the table, and over Waltham Forest who were relegated at the end of the season.

Ware finished a strong 10th in Ryman 1 North the following season, and were in the play-off positions when Kemal left in November of 2015.

We welcome Kem to the club and look forward to working with him to turn the fortunes of Forest after a disappointing 2015-16 season.

Kem will be assisted by Tolga Husein (pictured right), who he has worked with at Broxbourne and Ware.
