Advent Calendar 2015: Day 16 – Aldershot Town 8-1 Leyton Pennant

Such is the nature of this exercise, that’s the closer we get to Christmas, the more heavy defeats we will have to report on.

In February 1998, Aldershot Town were on their march back up through the Isthmian League, from Division 3 to the Football League in 2008.

The webmaster has not been able to find much about this match unfortunately, other than a Billy Read goal turned out to be in vein as Leyton Pennant shipped eight goals.

Went on to bigger things

Che Stadhart had a long and successful spell at Gravesend and Northfleet, winning the Isthmian Premier Division.
