Bagsman Nwachuku signs up

Walthamstow are delighed to announce the signing of forward Nnamdi Nwachuku, who has made a verbal agreeement to join the club ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Nwachuku has long been one of non-league’s most prolific and consistent goalscorers of the modern era having netted 101 times in 100 appearances for Coggeshall Town during their rise to the Isthmian League North Division. He also netted an incredible 49 times in 38 games for AFC Sudbury during the 2022-23 season, helping them secure promotion to step 3.

Nnamdi rose through the youth ranks at Colchester United, with loan spells at Bishop’s Stortford, Leiston and Bury Town. From there he moved to Hornchurch and then Maldon & Tiptree.

But it was at Coggeshall Town where he developed into the player he is now, scoring over 100 times for the Essex club.

He scored 23 times in 37 appearances for Marlow  before joining AFC Sudbury where his remarkable scoring record earned him the Golden Boot at the 2023 Non-League Paper’s National Game Awards.

He continued his good form playing for Cheshunt in the Isthmian Premier, and spent last season playing for Basingstoke Town and Gosport Borough in the Premier Division of the Southern League.

The signing represents a real statement of intent from Stow, whose fans will now be counting down the days until the start of pre-season.
