Burnham Ramblers 1-4 Waltham Forest

A ten-man Waltham Forest produced a memorable display to beat Burnham Ramblers 4-1, and pick up their first win in five games.

David Szuha’nyi gave Forest the lead on the stroke of half time with his first goal for the club.

Ramblers were awarded a penalty on 62 minutes, which Alexandru Catana saved – his second penalty save in two games. But the linesman flagged as Alan Callaghan was adjudged to have encroached on the penalty.

Callaghan was sent off for dissent, but Ramblers missed the re-take.

Lee Scott got the home side level on 73, but only two minutes later Charlie Gregory gave Forest the lead again with a fine free-kick.

Jose Agua continued his good form with his 10th goal of the season on 87, and Roy Jones added a fourth on 90.

Forest moved up two places to 19th in the table. Next up is an trip to Eton Manor, this Wednesday 2 March.
