Double league award for Stow

Walthamstow have picked up both of the Isthmian League’s awards for February, with Vinny Murphy named manager of the month, and his side’s 5-3 win over Felixstowe & Walton United securing the team performance of the month award.

This is Murphy’s second such award, having picked up the manager of the month gong in April last year too.

Murphy’s Walthamstow side were in fine form in February, winning all four of their games, and scoring 14 goals in the process.

There were wins over Wroxham, Maldon & Tiptree United, Mildenhall Town and most impressively, over Felixstowe & Walton United.

It was that 5-3 win against league leaders Felixstowe which earned Walthamstow the team performance of the month award.
