Football In East London Exihibition

The Idea Store at Canary Wharf is currently showing an exhibition devoted to Football in East London and will run for the duration of the World Cup. The exhibition which is free is based on a book written by Colm Kerrigan and Club Historian David Chapman. As expected Leyton is well represented as are West Ham United.

Might be worth a visit as you can combine it with the Docklands Museum, which has been open free of charge since April.

Colm is giving a free talk on Thursday 24 June at 13.00. He is also signing copies of his book East London: A Hot Bed of Football. Colm wrote the official history of the English Schools Football Association
