Great Wakering Rovers 2-2 Waltham Forest

Forest took the lead in the third minute when Courtney White, on loan from Billericay Town, opened his account for the club with a 20-yard effort.

On 20 minutes, the home side equalised through Okai who capitalised after Omand spilled a shot.

Great Wakering then took the lead on 47 when Pindy scored at the second attempt.

Forest went close twice in as many minutes on 57 and 59, first through Dagher, and then through White who had a header cleared off the line.

On 70 Forest went closer still, when Douglas hit the bar from a free-kick.

The goal Forest deserved finally came on 72 when debutant Inaki Ordono’s corner was fired in by Manu Dagher.

Rovers had the chance to take all three points through Okai but Lukman Mojeed was there to save the ball on the line, and player-manager Dan Trenkel missed a late one-on-one effort.
