Heybridge Swifts 4-0 Waltham Forest

Waltham Forest were put to the sword by a clinical Heybridge side at Scraley Road yesterday (Saturday).

It was Forest who started the brighter, and enjoyed much of the opening possession – indeed this was a trend which continued throughout the match.

Arian Retkoceri, Tim Monsheju and Chris Taylor all had long range efforts for Forest before Cheek gave Heybridge the lead, slotting past the onrushing Omand.

Ofori then made it two for the home side, in similar fashion to the first.

Just before half time, Callender showed his class as he took down a long ball, held off Head and finished deftly.

Mid-way through the second half Callender showed his class again by cutting through the Forest defence and holding off about for challenges before slotting home.
