Home tie awaits victors of FA Cup clash

The winners of this Saturday’s FA Cup tie between Waltham Forest and Hoddesdon Town will be at home in the first qualifying round of this year’s competition.

They will face either Welwyn Garden City or Stotfold in the next round.

Welwyn are currently second in the Spartan Premier, having taken four points from their opening two games. Stotfold, meanwhile are rock bottom, having conceded 12 goals in their opening two league games – including going down 6-2 to Forest’s opponents this Saturday, Hoddesdon.

Hoddensdon beat Stansted 1-0 to get this far in the competition, but lost 2-0 to Hertford Town on Saturday.
