James returns as Stow build for 2023-24

Stow fans will be counting down the days until the start of the 2023-24 season, following the news that favourite Dwade James has returned to Wadham Lodge.

The forward returns to the club after two seasons at Enfield, who he helped win the Essex Senior League. He scored 39 goals during his time with the Es.

Dwade need little introduction in E17, having scored 71 goals in 69 appearances for the club after making his debut in 2020. He also holds the club’s modern-day record for goals in a season, scoring 40 in 2019-20, despite the season being cut-short by the Covid-19 pandemic.

He’ll bring a mixture of pace, physicality and finishing to the front-line, as Stow prepare for life in the Isthmian Division One North.
