Keeper Robinson signs up
Goalkeeper Anton Robinson has signed for Walthamstow.
The 6’5 teenager joins following his release from League Two side Swindon Town, where he was a scholar, making the first team bench for an EFL Trophy tie against Reading.
While there, he spent time out on loan at Swindon Supermarine and Reading City.
Robinson is an Essex local, and has recently shared some of his story on his Instagram page:
“My journey hasn’t been straightforward, and that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping the next generation of goalkeepers. After being released by Millwall and later Swindon Town, I had to rebuild my career from the ground up. I’ve dropped into non league football with one goal in mind, to work my way back to full time football and ultimately the EFL.
“That journey has taught me resilience, discipline, and what it really takes to keep improving when things don’t go your way. I know what it feels like to face setbacks, but I also know what it takes to keep pushing forward.
“Through my one to one goalkeeping coaching, I want to pass on everything I’ve learned, helping goalkeepers improve their technique, confidence, decision making, and mentality. Whether you’re just starting out or chasing your own football dream, I’m here to help you become the best goalkeeper you can be and enjoy every step of the journey.
