Non-league Galacticos coming to town

Walthamstow FC are delighted to announce a prestigious friendly ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Glenn Tamplin’s all-conquering Billericay Town side will visit Wadham Lodge on Tuesday 24th July.

The assembled squad of galacticos romped to the Bostik Premier Division title last season, as well as winning the Bostik League Cup and the Essex Senior Cup on their way.

And there’s a bit of a connection already between the two clubs as Ricky Modeste (above, left) was part of Waltham Forest’s youth team which reached the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup in 2005. Joe Ellul who played for Forest in the 2011/12 season is also part of the Ricay squad.
