Potters Bar Town Preview (21-3-12)

This Wednesday we entertain Potters Bar Town, for our first home midweek match since Wednesday the 23rd of November, when we lost 1-0 to AFC Sudbury.

The last run of matches has been hard for us, and games against Brentwood Town, Enfield Town, Romford, Tilbury and Leiston have all seen us come away without any points.

Saturday saw a marked improvement and the first clean sheet since the end of January, as we drew 0-0 to Soham Town Rangers.

Our opponents on Saturday had just changed managers, so a draw was not a result to be sniffed at.

Our recent form against Potters Bar is less than impressive. The last time we beat them was on the 4th of April 2009, when Farvour Gariga and Yacine Hamada got on the score-sheet.

Since then, we have played them five teams, losing on each occasion. However, the past two encounters between the sides have ended in goalless draws.

Potters Bar have improved year on year, and now lie 10th in the table. After an excellent start to the year which saw them go nine games unbeaten, they have lost their last two matches to Grays Athletic and Needham Market.

There will be live updates from the match on the club’s twitter stream and Facebook page.
