Preview: Letchworth GC Eagles v Waltham Forest

With just two weeks to go before the start of the 2016-17 Essex Senior League season, Forest ramp up their preparations with a trip to Letchworth, to take on the Garden City Eagles.

Letchworth were only formed in 2008, but have been relatively successful since then. After gaining promotion to the Premier Division of the Herts County League in 2010, they have finished 2nd (twice), third, forth, sixth and eighth. Last season they finished third, scoring 80 goals in 32 games.

They kicked off their pre-season matches last Saturday against Shefford, but the result of this match has been difficult to discover online.

The game will be played at the Hitchin Arena, Norton Rd, Baldock SG7 5AU, kick off is 3PM.
