Seaside opener for Stags

Waltham Forest will start their 2015-16 season with a trip to the seaside as they take on Southend Manor.

The two sides will meet on Saturday 8 August, at Arena Stadium.

Forest took four points from Manor last season, drawing 2-2 by the coast and completing an 8-1 rout at Wadham Lodge in December 2014.

Forest will then entertain Barking on Wednesday 12 August. The two sides met three times last season, with Barking running out 4-1, 6-1 and 2-1 victors – the latter coming in the Gordon Brasted Trophy.

The tie with Barking will certainly prove a tough test for Forest so early in the season.

The rest of the Senior League fixtures are expected to be out shortly.
