Stags to host Ramblers in Senior Cup

Waltham Forest will host Burnham Ramblers in the Second Round of this season’s Essex Senior Cup.

The match – to be played on or before 3 October – will be the fourth meeting between the two sides. Forest have a 100% record in cup competitions – winning 3-0 and 2-0 in the FA Cup in 2004 and 2001 respectively.

However, when the two sides met in the 2013-14 Ryman League, Ramblers ran out 1-0 and 3-2 winners.

Forest will be looking for their first Senior Cup victory since October 2012, when Bowers & Pitsea were hammered 8-1.
