Hoodwood went in search of an equaliser and when Abs Asname was judged to have committed a foul they were awarded a penalty, but this was well saved by Hussein Gosutok. The visitors were not to be denied and pulled level on 12 minutes with a fine finish. The rest of the half was closely fought but saw no further goals.
After the break Forest took the lead again when a quick breakaway found Suat Demirel just inside the Hoodwood half and he ran on to score.
Hoodwood were level within a minute when Gozutok fouled their forward and this time the spot kick was converted.
There was little between the sides, but Hoodwood went in front with another penalty following a foul by Besir Arasan, and a handball in the last minute gave the visitors their 4th spot kick of the afternoon which they converted for a 4-2 victory.
The Vets are now without a fixture until 4th January when they entertain Old Elizabethans at Wadham Lodge, kick-off 12.00.
