Takeley 1-3 Waltham Forest

Forest are now eight games without defeat, after a confident 3-1 win over Takeley.

In windy conditions, Forest dominated the first half, with Hassana Traore and Famory Kamissoko both guilty of missing good chances.

Forest made the most of their possession mid-way through the second half, as Ofori gave them the lead, lashing home a perfectly-weighted through pass from Luke Ifil.

Hassana Traore then dropped in a long-range effort from the edge of the area to double the lead, before Ofori got his second of the game with another one-on-one finish.

Forest had a stonewall penalty shout turned down, before a free header gave Takeley half a chance of getting back into the game.

But Forest stood tall, and saw out the game for another three points, despite Takeley having a goal disallowed for offside.
