Tony Mercer Confirmed First Team Manager
The Committee of Waltham Forest Football Club is happy to announce the appointment of Tony Mercer has first team manager. Mercer began his involvement with the first team towards the end of last season, and will look to continue his good work during the 2010-11 season. Tony has previously managed at Saffron Walden Town and Stansted, and has most recently been assistant manager at Conference South outfit Bishop’s Stortford. Tony will be bringing in his own backroom staff, namely Tony Murphy as his assistant and Mel Ramsay as first team coach. Raz Adedokun meanwhile, as taken up a role as Director of Football. The club are also happy to confirm the appointment as Shelly Weeks as first team physiotherapist, having previously been with Leyton.
