Top scorers return as Esendagli rebuilds

Forest’s two record-breaking top scorers from last season have returned to the club as Turgut Esendagli acts swiftly to push Forest up the table.

Jose Agua scored 20 times last year, a record tally for any Waltham Forest or Leyton Pennant player (tied with Billy Read who scored 20 in the 1998-9 season). And he made it a goalscoring return, netting an injury time winner against London Bari test yesterday.

Solomon Ofori is also back with the club. The nippy front-man scored 15 times in 32 games last year, and contributed to many more.

Defenders Claudio Jose and Kemarr Salmon have both returned, the latter having been with Barkingside this season, scoring once in seven games.

Alan Calaghan and Mekki Mousa have all made returns to the first team, having been playing for the reserves until now, and Charlie Gregory also makes a come-back to the Forest fold.
