Tough test awaits Forest in FA Cup

Waltham Forest have been handed a tough away tie as they attempt to reach the third qualifying round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1992 (as Leyton).

Isthmian Premier League side Folkstone Invicta will be the hosts after they dispatched North Greenford United 3-1 in the last round, in front of 337 people.

Invicta haven’t made it past the second qualifying round since the 2007-8 season, when they beat Windsor & Eton.

The two sides have met once before in cup football – Invicta running out 6-0 winners in the 2013-14 FA Trophy.

The tie will take place on Saturday 17 September.
