Uxbridge 2-0 Waltham Forest

Waltham Forest suffered a 2-0 defeat to Uxbridge in their fourth pre-season match of the 2012-13 season.

The first half was just about even with Forest having a couple of good chances and Uxbridge having a “goal” correctly disallowed for offside.

Forest made a few changes early in the second half and they were still looking to make an impact when one of the Uxbridge subs, Nicke Kabamba ran onto a long ball to beat Aaron Omand.

Forest should have leveled but Uxbridge packed their defence and Dimitri Larin and Matt Waldron picked up knocks.

From a corner Matt Woods managed to beat our defenders to get their second.

Next up for Forest are Enfield 1893, at Brimsdown Sports and Social Club on Tuesday, with a 7.45 kick-off.
