Waltham Forest 1-0 Hullbridge Sports

Waltham Forest secured their first clean sheet since mid-October, and in doing so picked up three points against Hullbridge Sports.

There was again wholesale changes from Wednesday’s game against London Bari, and it made for a fairly drab opening half-hour with neither goalkeeper being tested.

The deadlock was broken on 41 minutes when Pelummy Martin latched onto a ball over the top, taking a touch before lifting the ball over the advancing keeper.

Martin had further chances in the second half, but Forest were never really troubled at the back.
