Waltham Forest 1-1 Ware
In a match as dull as the weather, both teams battled away for the solitary point. Forest should have gone ahead in the first minute when Anton Douglas hit the Ware upright with Gaz Dauti hitting the rebound wide.
Ware pushed Forest back into their own half and got their reward on 16 minutes when Danny Johnson had little stopping him from heading home from 8 yards.
Forest could not find their footballing flair from earlier in the season with wayward passing and holding on to the ball too long contributing little to the match.
After the break, Ware could have increased the lead were it nt for a great save by Aaron Omand again from Johnson.
There seemed little force in the Forest attack until the 63rd minute when Kayan Kalipha was first to react to a Forest free kick which rebounded from the Ware upright, across the goal for Kalipha to stab the ball home.
The final ten minutes was all Forest who realised too late, all three points could have been theirs.
