Waltham Forest 1-4 Woodford Town
Waltham Forest suffered defeat in their second pre-season game, going down 4-1 to Spartan League side Woodford Town.
Forest dominated the first half, and should have been ahead at half time, but a number of changes at half time saw Forest suffer a heavy defeat.
There were 10 changes from the starting line-up from Forest’s game against Colney Heath with only goalkeeper Raul Esteban and Elie Mbangu featuring in both games so far.
Forest took the lead through Pelummy Martin who used his strength to hold off a defender and calmly roll the ball home after being put in from a precise through-ball from Asamoah.
However, Forest’s lead was short-lived and after the returning Enoche Arbaut lost the ball in midfield, Forest were outnumbered and the away side leveled.
The second half saw Woodford rampant to score three unanswered goals.
Forest now face Barkingside at Wadham Lodge on Tuesday 21 July, at 7.45 PM.
