Waltham Forest produced a dominating performance to progress to the last 16 of the Ryman League Cup.
Manu Dagher could have given Forest an early lead but shot straight at the keeper after finding himself in space.
Joel Palmer gave Forest the lead mid-way through the first half, heading home a pin-point cross from Antone Douglas.
Forest continued to press and could have scored further first half goals if crosses were converted.
Joel Palmer got his second of the game in the second half, pouncing on a shot from Manu Dagher which the Canvey ‘keeper could only partially save.
The Ryman Premier side pulled a goal back soon after, converting at the back post when Forest couldn’t quite clear their lines.
But the two-goal advantage was restored by Luke Stanley who fired in a long-range effort.
