Waltham Forest 4-3 Ilford

Waltham Forest made it seven wins in nine matches in the league with a 4-3 win over Ilford in a pulsating encounter.

It only took seven minutes for Forest to take the lead, with Manu Dagher scoring his third goal in of the season.

Jamie Moore then scored his first goal for the club on 23, doubling Forest’s lead.

 

The two goal margin was short-lived though, as Raphael Kaphouris pulled a goal back for Ilford on 25 minutes.

With 30 minutes on the clock, Joel Palmer restored Forest’s two goal advantage scoring his fourth of the season.

On 71, Ilford pulled another goal back to make it 3-2, but Dagher scoring his second of the match made it 4-2 on 77.

Ilford did score a third goal in the 93rd minute, but Forest held on for another three points, to help them up to 2nd in the table.
